Post by bernt »

Hi.

At the moment Iâ??m making an order of catfish from Brazil, which is very exiting :D
On the list there is a catfish named â??L-213 spotted Ancistrus ranunculusâ?

bernt,

L213 has a lot more of the common Ancistrus body shape, not nearly as wide as L34 or L255. They are black with a lot of small white spots and max at about 13 cm.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Maybe I should go for the L-255, even though itâ??s more expensive. I mean, how often do you get a chance to buy this catfish? Iâ??ve never seen this catfish before, only in pictures. I guess this must be a rare catfish in other countries as well, not only in Norway. Or am I wrong?

Yes they are rare, if you can so buy the L-255 they are not a easy fish to get hold on and I think I know that wholesaler who are selling them and this is the first time he had the luck to order them.
