what happened to Paulicea lutkeni??
Zungaro zungaro is a totaly different fish!!

The planetcatfish cat-e-log is usually on top of things; books however are usually not.....
And this particular cat is still in the books as "Pseudopimelodus Zungaro Bufonius", orr even "Zungaro zungaro"....
You're lucky, though!
if the fish in your pic is yours, you can keep him a looong time. In a big tank, he'll be fine.
AFAIK these thingies don't get too big (1 foot or so? don't know for sure).
the true Zungaro, that we used to call "Paulicea" is a voracious monster that kills and eats everything up to small kids, I've heard.
It'll outgrow any tank that I've heard of too.
