I was moving fish from my 90 to setup for Tropheus I will be getting
on Saturday. I noticed that one of the ancistrus was inside an upside
down flower pot and thought it would be easy to remove her by
scooping the whole pot up. As I did this and was bringing it up in
the water I thought I saw something that looked like eggs. I
released the female and looked at the pot in the water and saw there
was a clutch of orange eggs with a few white eggs. I put the pot
back the way it was and waited for the female to return. Well it has
been an hour and she won't go near it. What should I do? Should I
remove them and try incubating them with an airstone?
Can't believe this! I have been trying for 6 months to get them to breed and figures when I stopped trying they bred.
Go figure!
Help! My albino ancistrus pleco laid eggs.

I guess when I moved them I didn't realize they were hatched
I removed the flower pot and found 8 ancistrus fry stuck to the side of the pot. So far it looks like 4 are alive and 4 either didn't hatch or are dead. The 4 keep swimming side to side sticking to the walls of the small tub I have them in.
Will they survive?
