Keeping another Pleco with my L190 Royal?

Post by jhuepenbeck »

Hello,

I have a L190 Royal that is roughly 4 inches long right now. He is in a 125 g tank. How compatible is the L190 Royal with other Pleco's. I would like to add another interesting pleco to the tank, but I won't if that would cause a problem. Anyways, Can I keep more then one Pleco in the tank I have my L190 in? If so, what would you guys recommendations be for something interesting. My LPS has what he calls a Flagstaff Pleco that is roughly the same size (Would that work)?

Thanks in advance :)

My Royal is about the same size and shares my 105 gallon with a Queen, Gold Nugget, and Zebra. They do great together. I say add away! :)

My 6" L-190 lives happily in a 30 gal with a clown and a L-239 Blue Panaque. They all chill on the same piece of wood together at times. Will move him to my 75 soon though.
