I know when stressed they go blotchy and he doesn't come out much but last night I took a torch and he seemed a bit blotchy, would that just be the stress of the torch or could it be something else, he looks fine otherwise and during the day he hides in the driftwood and he doesn't seem blotchy. What do you think?

They go all blotchy at night, and that is their normal behavior.
