I am pretty positive this is not a wallagu attu. I took some crappy pics at the store to see if anybody could tell me what it is?

If it wasn't for the large adipose fin I would say <I>Brachyrhamdia</I> but I think it is more likely a species of <I>Mystus</I>. try looking at the genus thumbnails for those two genera?

As close as I can get is that it is some sort of Mystus spp.

Silurus is the expert on these.

Try THIS fish. Is this close?

That's way too much. These things go for $4-5. Take it back and ask for a refund.

Thanks for that. Just to make sure there is no way this could be an albino red tail cat right?

Some people said that on another forum and that is what I was hoping for.

Hi,

the picture is pretty blurry, but that looks much more like Brachyrhamdia meesi to me, considering the missing dorsal fin spot.
