Hi
There is a guy in FL who has a couple and has imported them... his name is Katfishguy... http://www.rarecatfish.net. He is a really nice guy and if you email him he is usually very helpful. I bought 2 Juruense from his last year and he was great to deal with.
Good luck...

the G.platynema is an awesome catfish,, but very sensitive. You have to be lucky to get one that is hardy. The first 2 I had died mysteriously with in a month with no signs of disease,,they were eating only live food. The one I currently have is about 18" and is eating shrimp and silver sides and is very hardy. Definitely a catfish to own if you are a catfish enthusiast like me.
