Bristlenose Breeding Question

Post by cafman »

I would like to raise both regular and albino bristlenose plecos. My question is will one male mate with more than one female? So if I had a male albino BN and a female regular BN and a female albino BN would the male most likely mate with both, thus producing regular and albino offspring? Any other suggestions?

I have a 45 gallon tank that 48 hours ago housed 4 BN, however, after medicating it exactly how the lfs told me to, 2 previously healthy fish are dead. The fish that was actually sick is still alive.
Thanks

I am nearly certain that a male BN will mate with more than 1 female.
