I saw this really cool Pleco at this awesome fish store in MD... the place is quite large and they carry some really nice plecos.

I saw this one that i really liked but it was $55. Unfortunately i forgot the scientific name for it and the L-number.

The name was "...... Vampire" on the tank. If i remember correctly it was all black with white spots.

Any ideas??

Did you look in the Catelog under common names? You'll find it there :)

Like these? Then it would be Leporacanthicus sp. from Venezuela or Columbia (L240/241).
If fish had less black body colour with yellowish spots, it would be Leporacanthicus galaxias.
It sounds you are talking about Aquatic center in MD...

hi there,

A similar fish with a greyer body and yellow spots, would this not be L282, Pseudacanthicus sp?
