Hi!

On first look i would say its some Baryancistrus species with very heavy stress coloration (meaning the fish aint happy at all).
cheers

Tolak,

On first look, I couldn't place the fish and it took me several hours to remember where I had seen them. I'm not sure that it is the same species, but I have seen them imported with Parancistrus auranticans. That may at least give you a locality to start looking.

Hi,

i have to agree with Christian, looks like a very stressed Baryancistrus (L18 imo) to me too.
I remember an article about color modifications in Loricariids by Ingo Seidel in DATZ some years ago, and among other things he pictured a miscolored L18 that looked like your fish.

Greetings,

I have a variation of L076-more yellow than the orange, and it looks exactly like that when it is stressed out. In my opinion, it is not L018, because the L018's I have turn dark when put into stressful situations. Just my opinions though.
