I have been offered a couple of 6" W. leeri.
I recognise the ultimate size, has anyone kept them before, can give me some info (feeding, growth rates, aggressiveness etc) before I commit to taking them.
cheers

I've kept one for about two years. In that time, it grew from 8" to about 24". Feeding it was a bit of a bother, since it was strictly carnivorous and would take only live food at first. Eventually, I managed to wean it onto a diet of freshly-killed fishes and frogs, and someone else I know successfully weaned it on a diet of raw strips of meat.
I would advise keeping them alone, as tankmates are potential food. The strange thing is that once it reaches a fairly large size, it tends to ignore really tiny fish.
