L24 or L25?

Post by quix »

Hi all, got this new Pseuda over the last wkend. Initially thought it to be a L25 but after some comparison with my other L25 and L24...thought it might be a L24 instead. Can the experts help me out on this? :)

I don't think that it is a L24. The 24's don't have so many dots on the sides. On some Japanese sides I have seen such light coloured L25 already. But I have not seen them alive.

I am no Loricariid expert, but we kept an L24 and stared it in the eye for many years, and I agree with Erwin that this is not L24 but more likely L25.

Sorry. I meant L25. The 24s I've had are green, not brown.
