Vanilla Pleco?

Post by Dude123 »

Has anyone ever heard of these? My LFS has had them lately but Ive been afraid to but them as i cant find any info on them. They look similar to the Albino Ancistrus in the photo contest except they dont have any bristles. any ideas?

What size are they? It's possible they are just young versions, or females.

They were between one and two inches. The usually have very good labeling for common names.

I think it may be an Albino Liposarcus sp.(1)

Should be fairly easy to tell the difference between albino Ancistrus and Liposarcus. Just count the number of dorsal-fin rays (8-9 for Ancistrus and 11-14 for Liposarcus).
