Need To ID Two Of My Fish

Post by jduva2000 »

Hey All,

JJ here again. Thank you all for the replies. My wife is still recovering from her injury after putting her hand in the tank. JK, not that bad at all, LOL. New question.. This great website, is there a place where I can browse pics of different cats? I have two I am trying to ID but cannot do it by the names as there are too many. Any ideas?

Thanks,

JJ

I hope I'm not off topic here, but it seems like he is saying to wants to browse by pictures and not names. Would it be possible to organize the cats into groups based on their body structures?

There was some talk of a system similar to that a while back, but nothing materialized. JJ, can you give us a general description of the fish? We can probably point you in the right direction.

Thanks Rusty!

The fish is short, about 3 inches. Has a snout, like an ant eater. Tan in color, and stays on the bottom all the time.

Auchenoglanis?

It would help if you could describe the body shape in a little more detail.
