Hi All,

Relative newbie here. Please can you help me ID this fish? Pretty sure its an L333 but might be an L066? He is roughly 6cm in length

Hi Dan,

Welcome to PlanetCatfish!

Maybe I'm way off, but without seeing the whole body shape, the narrow white lines make me think it's L260. L260 tends to be more stout and bulkier in my opinion than either L066 or L333. Full body photos might be more helpful.

Cheers, Eric

Hi All,

Managed to get some better shots - this is the only time I have seen him come out (assuming it is a him!).

Looking at other images online, it does look like an L260 as Eric suggests..... can we confirm that? Any thoughts on the sex?

Thanks!

Looks like a younger female L260 to me. A pic from above might be more helpful for sexing.
