I can't speak for what species are imported to France, but in the USA, true is almost never imported. The fish we get which looks similar to C. nanus, is . Stores sell it as C. nanus or as the "San Juan" cory. It is collected in and exported from Peru.
I suspect that's what you have.

Hi, I’ve just registered as I have the same question. I recently bought 5 cories labelled as ‘nanus’ and I’m now looking to add to their family group. Today I saw corydora elegans that looked exactly the same, hence looking to clarify!

usually has a black line at the base of the dorsal fin - but it's never exported.

Your species seems to be CW029.
"Elegans group" seems to be most controversial and most difficult o ID,
