T intermedia eggs?

Post by fishguy1978 »

I gave my intermedia to a hobbyist with a softwater well and he posted this picture to a locally focused forum. Are these intermedia eggs?

I've not gotten intermedia eggs yet myself, but the picture looks like it.

Good luck to the hobbyist!

Hi.
Those are for sure intermedia eggs, the way they clump together is how they lay them, almost like frog spawn.

I heard back from the local hobbyist that the T intermedia are spawning regularly for him. Unfortunately, he does not keep the eggs but let's the snails eat them. He did note that they typically reach wiggler stage.
