Rescued these from an aquarium with angels, acaras and geophagus.
I was very surprised that they even came out while I was cleaning the aquarium and that they had survived. They will go into a 2.5g unheated tank full of Java moss and algae.

Nice! I am also surprised they survived the geos. Maybe the geos learned to avoid them due to the spines <shrugs>

Could be but these little guys are only 25mm at most.

Looks like 2 male and a female, why not have a go at spawning these. :)

Wow, I don’t know how you did that but spawning would be nice. I’m feeding the vinegar eels. I also have frozen daphnia.

Improved their tank with a sand bottom and matten filter.
