Brochis splendens life span

Post by sjogren1 »

I've been told that Emeralds can live up to 10 years. Does anyone know how long they typically will live for?

Most Corydoras and Brochis species typically live 8-10 years, but they can live even longer if taken extremely good care of.

Their lifespan also varies from species to species (I assume the larger ones live longer than the small ones), but 8-10 years is the norm for the majority of species.

Q: How tall is Cartman in real life?

A: Well, Cartman doesn't exist in real life, but if he did he'd be two feet tall.

I had my last brochis splendens group for 12 years.
I t was 8 years before I ever got a spawning out of them.
They eventually gradually faded away.
