Someone on a discord group I help run picked this guy up and is wondering what sp it is?

Any clue?

Difficult to be sure from the photo, but almost definitely a hybrid. A photo in the tank with normal lighting would help confirm.

Closest to
Synodontis lucipinnis
but the dorsal is clear (vs solid black) and the dots look too irregular shaped?

Could be a hybrid with that?

They think a hybrid but aren't sure.
