Help with Royal Pleco

Hello everyone, it has been awhile! Happy New Year!

I hope this is the right forum. My Royal Pleco came out of its cave today to eat and I noticed this white puffy thing on it. Might it be an injury or fungal problem? I have Melafix and Primafix on hand but did not want to be hasty without getting some opinions or feedback. Thanks in advance for your time!

You will need to treat the area directly. Apply meth blue to a Q Tip. Catch the fish and directly swab the area (area will stain blue, it's ok). Treat in this manner every 2-3 days until it clears up. In these cases it is far better to treat the specific area rather than dump a medication in the tank.

Ok so Hank (pooper) is not happy with me , but I did get a chance to treat Hank today. Something rubbed off of Hank today when I went to treat him, but I think there is still a little healing… so I am hopeful he/she will be ok.
