Juvenile Syno ID
Asking for a friend, theyre not sure what syno they have. They bought upside down cats, only one is a true one, the other two are not and they want to know what they have so they can plan their best care

They mentioned these guys have white stripes on the tail area, is that still something that works for this identification?

has smaller, irregularly shaped spots and is greyish/brown. The pictured fish has some spots more like which is grey. The slightly blunter head shape indicates captive / farm raised and/or hybridisation involved in the pictured fish.
