Hello to everyone. I am anew member but have been visditing this site, which by the way is fantastic as a resource for the catfish lover, for about a year and a half.

I live between Bournemouth & Southampton and have only been keeping tropical fish for about a year and a half.

I have a 300L tank of discus, which i have bred once, usually my Panaque nigrolineatus feasts on discus eggs twice a month. In the discus tank i also have a scobinancistrus auratus (4"), Barryancustrus sp (3"), a gibby, the tropical fish i ever bought 1" at purchase one and a half years later 8" but he is a beautiful fish. Also some cortydoeas including schwartzi, julii & skunk. I also have another plec that i rescued from being put down the toilet by a "friend" dont know what he is but will put a photo in the "what is this forum" in due course.

My other tanks are a 250L Malawi tank with both peacocks and Mbuna ( no catfish in there  )and a 200L tanganikan tank that has a syno multi P in it. My other tanks are jsut for growing out the fry that are produced by the tangs & malawis.

I hope that i will be speaking to some of you and sharing information in the near future.

Cheers

Tristan. :o

PS it is great to be able to talk to other fish enthusiasts and to know that I am not alone in wondering how one tank leads to another etc.

Wellcome to the Forum ....... where all your queries can be answered by someone - somewhere.
Discus are hard to breed - you must be doing something right.
