L046 Imperial pleco

Post by Twig »

I just wanted to know what would be a good food to feed these plecos. I've had mine for about 3-4 months and it doesn't seem to be growing to much. I have it in a tank with about 20 cichlids and I feed them Aquadine spiriluna and sometimes i'll throw in some frozen brine shrimp. I just want to make sure that it is eating the right food.

Thanks,

Ben

Hey all,
I know that it can be a little risky as it can transfer "nasties" into your tank, but try live blackworms, they love them.

Zebras like meaty foods, although I have found they like a slice of raw zucchini once in a while. I feed mine a combination of Hikari catfish wafers and sinking carnivore tablets.
