Fisher's woodcats

Post by Doradid »

I purchased 5 Fisher's woodcats a few months back. They're about 4" now and none show the tall dorsal fin. Anyone know how old/big they are before the dorsal changes in the males? Wondering if I have a different species because none of mine seem to have changed yet, maybe they are too young though.

Thanks

Hi Doradid,

Do you see male anatomy on the anal fins?

Cheers, Eric

Not sure what I'm looking for in this case, something like a livebearer? They all seem similar, just a plain anal fin.

Yes, exactly, very similar to a livebearer. If they look 'normal' then that would imply you have all females.
