Exactly what Dave Rinaldo said, although scientists don't tend to say "F0." They say "P" (for parents, referring to original generation, or what we think of as F0).Dave Rinaldo wrote: ↑07 Jan 2019, 02:32From the Glossary

P.S., As for the price, yes $75 per fish for zebras is a great price. That said, the going price for captive bred zebras is often $100 USD per inch, so on a "per inch" price scale, $75 is normal, not particularly low. The real savings is that most sellers won't sell fish until they are 1", so you have trouble finding them for $75.

I have sold over 500 zebras since the start of 2007. I have never and will never sell them until they are both over 6 months old and 1.5 inches TL. I do not consider it safe to ship them at 3/4 of an inch. If they are delayed for any reason, they can starve to death pretty easily. While airport to airport is usually the fastest and cheapest way to ship a box, this is no guarantee that it cannot go astray or get delayed. The real savings is that most sellers won't sell fish until they are 1",
Just my opinion, as always.
