What is/ who has the biggest pleco?

Post by hanleong »

very curious to know

1) what is the species which can grow to become the biggest of all?

2) what is that maximum size in the wild?

3) who has the biggest pleco in their tanks?

4) any pics to share some of the biggest plecos?

keen to learn

Thanks

You are right about it not being a catfish, but they do have a sucker mouth, and they are HUGE! My husband catches them in the Columbia River, so I've seen one up close...

THose aren't suckers. It is their mouth though. They do not attach themselves anywhere.
