Albino longfin B/N red lips and stomach
A friend got 2 of these off me just over 2 weeks ago. Then they started this red in the mouth and stomach. Does anyone know what it might be or how to treat it. None of mine have it, it’s just happened since he had them. And only for a day or so.
Thanks
Thanks

I'm not 100% sure what he is feeding them, i would say wafers and cucumber or zucchini.
I do know he has a black sand which he calls volcanic or iron sand. I have a feeling that may have done it. I havn't felt the sand yet but possibly its a little coarse and has scratched them.
Thanks

Make sure to keep this one isolated, might be a bacterial infection (?)

Yes i think today he separated them and used Melafix. So i hope for him that this will heal them and kill any bacteria if there is any.
Thanks

Keep up regular water changes too, when I've seen redness like that in the past I've had good results with melafix and daily water changes, topping g up the dose appropriately each day. Good luck
