Guess the number of pieces :-D

The cave in this photo reminds me of one of those contests where you have to guess the number of candies in a jar, and if you guess correctly, you win the candy.

The other challenge here is identifying all the species in the cave.

In the cave i see only 4 plecos big 397,134 and 201 and a baby 397

Panaqolus albomaculatus

is the other species. So far, fortunately, the two species have shown no interest in each other. The mustard spots have tried to spawn (with other mustard spots) several times but never did a female get around to laying eggs. Hopefully this year.

At the other end of the spectrum (of time), yesterday my head was spinning because of a rapid start/finish spawn cycle for a pair of L397. Only 15 minutes after a cool water change, a male started trapping a female. About two hours later, he was fanning eggs. That was the fastest L397 spawn I've ever seen!

Almost there on the plecos but I thought I could see 6 . I must have been counting a fin and an eye from one of the 4. Nice work on the L397's.

I could see 6 plecos, 4 in the cave 2 L397, 201, and I'm not sure about the other one....
