To raise them.
Should
I transfer parents to another tank to breed?
Thisnis the tank they are currently in, i also have cories in this tank.

You either separate them quite soon after hatching, before they leave the dad's cave or you better leave them in there. Catching them after they left the cave is a real pain.

thanks, yup and my tank is really messy.
i just hope they get enough food.
would it be a good idea to transfer the parents to a more bare tank?

If they breed and are healthy, I don't see reason to move the parents. You just need to place the caves in a way for you to see when they spawned, so you can pull the fry after they hatched, if needed.

Why don't you remove some of the jungle? it will grow back again ;)
You might also need some more Waterchanges to minimize the algae grow in the future.

Hi all,
It has Ceratopteris thalictroides and Lemna minor embedded in it.
Edit: I've now seen the OP's other algae thread and posted on that.

The floating plant isn't an algae, it is a vascular plant Utricularia gibba, it grows in my tanks, but never as thickly as that.Jobro wrote: 22 Mar 2018, 13:34 Why don't you remove some of the jungle? it will grow back again ;)

Re: Tips on how to separate fries
By the way the plural form of the word fry (as in the young fish) is fry, not fries.
