I'm working on a photography project about the Development of different kind of animals (I posted one of the pictures here https://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/vie ... 27#p309227) and created an under water set-up/studio for fish. Having this set-up is really convenient if you want to take a closer look at your fish

only one looked like she was ready. But who know's?

I don't think it is ready either, but eventually it will be (if it's a female). That would be a lot easier than getting them out to take new pictures...

That´s a bit difficult…My first instinct would be; ´sure´, but photography is how I make my living. It’s getting increasingly difficult to get work and it’s getting very competitive. This project is a big deal for me. Some people even advised me not to share any of the pictures, until I was ready to publish a book or organize an exhibition, because there is always the risk of copy cats. So I don’t think it’s very smart at this point to reveal exactly how I made them…

I really don't understand these guys anymore. Only one week later, the male is trapping a female again in the same cave (he abandoned the first eggs after 4 days. I found only 3 of them and put them in a tumbler, but I was probably too late, because the next morning they all turned light yellow/white).

They are still very small/young, so this can't be the same female, right?

well, maybe she only dropped 5-6 eggs on the first try and is back for more now? Who knows

With the 3 remaining eggs, I found the 'shells' of about 10 others (there are some young assassin snails in the tank, that I haven't been able to catch yet and I think they might have eaten the other eggs).

But I could very well be she has some 'leftover eggs' or something.
