Any info on breeding L10as? Red Whiptail Lizards?

Post by Icedcold »

I'm having trouble breeding them. Maybe it's my aquascape? Maybe food? Maybe PH?

Parameters - 77F, 8.8 PH.

I have open ended caves, I feed raw shrimp, spiralina and carnivore tablets and zuchinni.

I have them currently housed in a 20 long with Goodieds.

I have 2 Females 1 Male.

I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

make sure theirs flow going over/across the front of the caves, my plecos spawned in a 1/2 pvc pipe. i would also recommend 25-50% cool water changes daily. you could also raise the temp to 79-81. i would also recommend feeding them adult brine shrimp, blood worms and the small pleco fluval bug bites

the black caves are just for the bristle nose. also when i spawned them i had another hang on back beside the one in the pic. you can also check out the breeding report i did on them. (i dont have L10a's in there any more so i had to move the white cave around cuz i only had 1 at the time, but the rocks, wood and plants are the same)

No pics, need to pay for photobucket membership? On another forum, we've been using postimage to post pics:

Or you just upload the pictures using the forums functions? This way the pictures will stay up as long as the forum is up and don't end up disappearing sometime in between.
