perhaps studying real hard, hard enough to go to the university, joining thatr, specializing in fish (Ichthyology) and then going after weird Pleco's might be a workable scenario? takes a load of time, however.

You might like the option of getting known into the "fishcollecting crowd" and joining them on jungle-trips more.....

How do you join the fish-collecting crowd, though? That's what I want to know. It would be so cool to go to the Amazon and collect cories and other fish, but I don't know how one would get into that?

you will need to work real hard too, hard enough to save an extra of US$2-3K for a ticket and trip to the amazon...... :D :D
