Are there any top/middle dwelling catfish species?

Post by EdWalker »

Just curious if there are. I have a 55 gallon that I want 100% devoted to smaller catfish species and I would love to find some middle dwelling catfish for it, if any such species exists of course.

Glass cats stay relatively high in the water column as long as the light isn't too bright. (Mine will go low down among the plants when there's a lot of light.)

are midwater catfish, my 25-strong group swim alongside my 13-strong mix of Phenacogrammus sp.1 and interruptus.

are much more easier to source, at least in the UK.
