K Kinda a two part question.

I've had the above for about a year. He was purchased as Corydoras Melanistius

Then I purchased 2 of these guys

Thinking they were the same and the above guy would have some budiies...but they don't look the same..

So are they all Corydoras Melanistius or something else?
the catelog confuses me on these guys cause so many of them look the same to me

Neither are C. melanistius, the first one looks like C. leucomelas the other could be C. brevirostris bur ir is difficult to see from the picture.

I'll try to get some better pics from you tonight.

Is melanistius no longer a classification..or were they just mislabeled?

This is just the one cory again. Two shots of it, hopefully it'll help in id-ing the one...still need to try and get pics of the other.

if there is some specific shots let me know...I'm still trying to get less blury ones

That little guy looks just like my C. Leucomelas. Maybe try looking in the Cat-a-log and seeing if that's your cory? :)
