Breeding Unusual Catfish

Post by CatfishAddict01 »

I'm focusing on breeding corys in my fishroom but would love a few unusual cats to try breed. I've thought of Ottocinclus species and dwarf anchor cats (hara jerdoni) but need more ideas and advice. Anyone got any ideas or pointers? Thanks

A lot of this is going to depend upon tank size, and maybe water quality depending upon what's available to you. There's also a question of how involved you want to need to be in convincing them to spawn. Some fish will spawn just from being in a tank together with proper water and food. Others have some VERY demanding requirements in order to coax a spawn. A bit more detail would be helpful in making suggestions.
