Re: ID needed for Bob
Hi Missilemanatee,
First, welcome to PlanetCatfish.
I don't know if your catfish is having an identity crisis, but I am puzzled as to why the photos appear (to me) to be upside-down or sideways in your above post. And yet, when I click on each link, they all appear normal -
right-side-up.
No matter, getting back to your fish. It is a catfish. Unfortunately, the colors of your cory are subdued in the photo, which makes a 100%-confirmed ID difficult. But my initial choice is that your fish is ; it's a very nice cory, hardy and community friendly. There are a few species and types of corys that look very similar to aeneus, but that cannot be determined without better photographs. That said, aeneus is probably the most commonly sold cory in the world, so the odds are best that this is your fish.
Cheers, Eric

Re: ID needed for Bob
He's mostly brown on top and a paler sort of silvery on bottom

If you can, find him (or her) a partner. I have a lot of corydoras in my tanks and I actually picked up two of this type out of pity for them from Wal Mart. Within a couple of weeks they became the most active corydoras that I have! While all my peppered cory's hang out at the bottom, my two like the one you have pictured sort of "dance" together all around my tank. It is quite amusing and, dare I say, quite lovely.
