KL : Is that a Pleco Gibbiceps?
Would appreciate if you can help to ID my fish.

Yes that is a bad camera angle. . A better photo would yield a more confident ID. But even so, I think you're correct: .

That they do, for the first year. After they reach some 15 cm, they are almost Always in the open.

How do you sex gibbiceps does anyone know i have around 20 and 25cm in length

As the male burrows a hole in the clay, which is norrmally around 1 meter in length, I am afraid breeding will not be an option.
I can't tell any clue about sexing them. Still, the normal way to sex Lorricarids - males broader near the pectoral fins, females broader in the belly region might apply.
