I have a group of 16 syno petricola. They have some discoloration on their gill plates. The rest of their color is greenish grey but on one side of the fish it's gill plate is a lighter color. I've noticed it on a couple different synos. I've also noticed it a couple years ago on a different group I had. It's never on both sides of the fish usually just one side. I don't know if it's parasites or fighting or what.
Anyone notice this on their fish?
Suggestions?
Synodontis disease or something else?
