sturi too thin

Post by vlg1728 »

Hello,

My female sturisoma laid eggs 2 weeks ago after months without doing it, lacking a mature male since then.
But now i can see she's very thin, she has a very hollow belly.

from this day on I feed her specifically every day with 1 tablet of NovoTab, that she eats with great appetite. But she's not gaining weight... and i saw a strange poo.

I fear she has worms ? How to treat her ?

Generally speaking, most pleco tablets contain wood, and Sturiosoma do not eat much wood, if any. I would try feeding a slice of courgette / zuchini (two names forthe same vegetable)

it's not a pleco tablet, with vegetables, but a tablet for corydoras, so mostly for carni. I mostly offer salad, red pepper, zuchini twice a week or more (i have a rabbit so i always have vegetables in my fridge).

i'll try to take a pic later, my tank is currently off.
