Help sexing L201

Post by Furcifer158 »

Bought theses guys about 3 years ago. Was rearranging some tanks and thought they might be big enough by this point.
Let me know what you think

I'm no expert but I'd say the very top one and bottom left one are both female?

The photos don't show odontodes well on any of them, so I would imagine that they (esp. the males) are not in great breeding condition, but here are my thoughts, based strictly on body shape. The fish marked F ? have wider hips than the expected males, but do not show the roundness through the midsection that I would expect for well conditioned females. So they could still be males (but I think not).

Two males, one female and four possible females, IMHO.

Cheers, Eric

Thank you for the replies. I tried to get photos of their pectoral fins, but they all looked about the same

One of the pictures is of the same fish, can't remember which one though.

You definitely have a female heavy group. Should be good for spawning. Goodluck
