Post by Peckolita »

Hi All,

According to the species page, @Cristoffer Forssander and @PseudaSmart have bred them. Not a huge surprise as both guys are expert breeders.

Welcome to the forum. Nice one to get started with the forum.
Just a hint if you want to raise fry collect them before they exit the cave on their own. Otherwise almost all will be lost.
Congrats.

The best time to get them is when the eggs have tails and mouths. The male will start to get irritated trying to keep them in. This is usually 7-9 days after spawn. They are very hardy at this point and easy to move. The longer one waits to collect the greater the risk of damage.

Here is one way to Collect the wrigglers.

Hi Peckoltia,

You've spawned L600? Congratulations! Adding your name to the list of people who have spawned a fish is easy to do:

If you have already added to your list of "My Fish," then simply go to your "My Fish" list and look for L600 on that page. To the right of its name you will see a link called "Add spawning report." Click that link and you will be able to add the details of your experience breeding L600 and you will be added to the list of people who have spawned it.

If you have not yet added L600 to your list of "My Fish," then go to the L600 Cat-eLog page (click the link above) and beside the species name you will see a link "Add to my cats." Click that first to indicate that you are keeping this fish, then follow the links to add a breeding log report.

Cheers, Eric
