GREEN ALGAE BLOOM
Hello All, I am in the middle of a green algae bloom that just will not go away..... I have tried several products and have done many water changes. I am going to try Tetra's Algae Control. One drop per gallon.... I have a five gallon Fuval aquarium. I read the instructions and it says not to use for new set up aquariums less than three (3) months old. Wow, now what do I do.... I need to get rid of this annoying water condition, now...... PLEASE HELP...... Martha

Take a look at this thread.

I would avoid chemical algae treatments as they are only a temporary solution and are not rectifying the root cause of the bloom.
