Xyliphius lepturus ?

One of them is 6inches TL. Imported fm Venezuela‬.

Did you get these from Oliver by any chance ;)
I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

There's some other species that aren't listed in the catelog, but of all the ones that are, I think lepturus is the closest match (overall color/shape, and the colored part of the tail).

I agreed on the tail part and the size..

Any other opinion ?

I just added three more species of to the Cat-e-Log. The genus should now be complete. No pictures yet but maybe soon.

That all said, the only three described spp. from or near Venezuela are melanopterus, lepturus, and kryptos.
