Restocked 20 gallon

Post by Taratron »

Am very much thinking of getting rid of my very crazy bronze cories, whom I've had for several months, but have never calmed down.

Do you think the following would work in a planted 20 gallon?

1 male betta
4 cherry barbs
2 bristlenose pleco
7 cardinal tetras
X amount of pygmy cories

How many pygmies could I add? Would they be comfy in a 20 gallon?

That sounds alright,as long as you keep ontop of the tank maintenance. I wouldnt add anythign else as thats already pretty densely populated.

Is this a 20 long or 20 high? In either case, it sounds pretty full without the corys. Can you give the measurements of width by length?

It's a 20 high.

I may leave the barbs out of this tank to get the cories in....would that work better?

I can always put the barbs in my 20 Long. ;)
