opinions???

Post by otg »

G'day
I have a 4 foot tank with 2 bristlenose catfish,2 panda cories, 1 julii cory, 4 clown loaches,2 honey gouramis,1 very peaceful siamese fighter, and a black ghost knife fish.
Everyone in the tank gets along very well and are happy together and i was just wondering if sumone could recommend a catfish or any fish for that matter that is primarily a top swimmer and will go well in the tank.

thanks

p.s. i would prefer a fish not of the norm...sumthing a bit odd...catfish or noy

If you want a top level fish, how about a few hatchet fish.

Hatchetfish are SOOO cool!!! One of my first fish was a hatchetfish named Tim, but he was suicidal and jumped out of the tank one day. :( But I don't hold that against him and I still think they are way awesome fish!

I would suggest you change the title of your post to something more specific and more people might come and help out.

Upside down catfish

If you want a catfish to take on the top level them some upsidedown cats will do. They look like cory cats to me that swim upside down. Most will feed from the waters surface.

yeah hatchetfish are cool. Tend to be picky about water parameters and are notorious jumpers. What about those butterfly fish. I think those are awesome. I would have a ton of them if it weren't for the fact that I keep fish from the americas.
