I picked up someof these but the more I loook at them they have a rounded nose. Could I have been had with some high fin Paleatus

This is a male, females do not have the extended fins.

I have two with the long fin and 2 with short fins look some what like that but the nose is more rounded

This is a female C. paleatus, there is another species with long fins, which may just be a natural variant. I don't have pictures available yet.

trust me if you have long fin paleatus you will know it.. mine have dorsal fins that are the length of their bodies and they are juv. the dorsal and bodies are about 1/2"-3/4" it is very obvious that it is a high or long fin variety.

I was looking this morning and I see a green sheen on the gills so I'm thinking I have 4 more Paleatus to add to the other ones I have
