Help me pick some corys for my 100 gal planted tank please

I'm thinking about going in on a local group order and there's a bunch of cory's to choose from ranging from $3 to $30 each, I'm cheap so I'm looking at the $3 guys first. lol

schwartzi vs agassizi vs julii

They're all listed as wild caught, which isn't necessarily a good thing to me, I have better luck with tank bred fish, but anyways....

Out of these three are any of them best for me?
I prefer tight schoolers that tend to truck around the bottom of the tank together. I had some cory's once that swam up and down the corner of the tank 24/7 and it wasn't really the "peaceful zen" vibe I was going for. Haha
I plan on probably ordering 12 for my 5 foot long 100 gal planted tank, is this a good number?


Side thought is I like the look of sterbai, but they seem to be out of my price range.

Forgot to add my tank is at 75-77 degrees

I can only speak from limited experience, but I have peppered and green bronze and of the two, the peppered are calmer in demeanor. The green bronze seem to have more of a frantic feel at times.

You should look at the profiles of each in the Cat-elog. Looks like agassizii is your best bet, because it can go up to 78F, whereas 76-77 may be uncomfortably warm for the schwartzi. The "julii" is likely trilianeatus, which also would be fine.

In a tank that size and wanting tight groups I'd go with like 30-50 Pygmeaus
