Undefined otocinclus, probably vittatus (?)

Post by Krakozawr »

Hello!
I have the school of ottos, sold without a definition.
Looks like otocinclus vittatus for me, but I don't sure. May be hoppei...
Can you please confirm (or falsified) this theory?
Thank you in advance

Hi all,
They aren't easy to ID. You need to look at the pattern on the caudal peduncle and caudal fin.

Have a look at:<http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 3&p=236896> & <http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/gen ... _id=49#105>.

cheers Darrel
