First thing, I think this is an awesome website! Has so much information available to hobbyist.
My story is: I was a having algae issues and was searching on something that was plant friendly but liked algae. I happens to like the Farlowella Catfish , so I went to a LPS and seen they had Twig Fish. I picked up two of them. They had my tank free of algae in a matter of days. After some time had past I came home from work and had eggs on the side of the glass. Although pretty cool I didn't want to be bothered by raising them. But a couple more spawns I though, I need to do something with this and found Planetcatfish and read as much as I could about these catfish. Now I have everything I need and rearing my first batch. Now two weeks old and doing great. Hope to have more spawns in the future. My best guess is that I have Farloella Vittata.
